Gaumukh Tapovan Trek 2025 Timeline

1	DAY 01: Dehradun – Gangotri (Drive 9-10 hrs) Arrive at Dehradun/Rishikesh in the morning. Drive to Gangotri via Uttarkashi, enjoying river valleys and mountain views. Check into guesthouse in Gangotri. Evening visit to Gangotri Temple.

2	DAY 02: Acclimatization at Gangotri Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Visit nearby places like Surya Kund and Pandav Gufa. Enjoy evening aarti at Gangotri Temple. Overnight stay in guesthouse.

3	DAY 03: Gangotri – Chirbasa (9 km trek / 5 hrs) Trek begins along the Bhagirathi River through pine and deodar forests. Reach Chirbasa (“home of pine trees”). Set up camp beside the river with views of snow peaks.

DAY 05: Bhojbasa – Gaumukh – Tapovan (9 km trek / 6-7 hrs)
