Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek is one of the most scenic treks in Uttarakhand, famous for its vast lush green meadows (bugyals) and stunning Himalayan views. These meadows are considered among the largest alpine meadows in Asia.
The trek takes you through dense oak & rhododendron forests, quaint villages, and finally opens up to the breathtaking bugyals. During spring and summer, the meadows bloom with colorful flowers, while in winter they are covered with snow.
From Ali & Bedni Bugyal, trekkers can witness grand views of Mt. Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba, and other Himalayan peaks. Bedni Kund, a sacred lake at Bedni Bugyal, adds spiritual significance to the trek.
This trek is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers, offering a mix of natural beauty, cultural experience, and spiritual essence of the Himalayas.

DAY 01: Rishikesh – Lohajung (Drive)Arrive at Rishikesh in the morning. Drive to Lohajung (approx 10 hrs). Check-in at guesthouse. Evening briefing and rest. |

DAY 02: Lohajung – Didina Village (Trek 7 km)Trek down to the river and climb up to Didina village through forests and small streams. Overnight stay at Didina homestay/campsite. |

DAY 03: Didina – Ali Bugyal (Trek 10 km)Steep ascent through oak & rhododendron forest. Trek opens into the vast Ali Bugyal meadows with panoramic views. Camp at Ali Bugyal. |

DAY 04: Ali Bugyal – Bedni Bugyal (Trek 6 km)Walk on the rolling meadows of Ali Bugyal leading towards Bedni Bugyal. Visit sacred Bedni Kund. Overnight camping at Bedni Bugyal. |

DAY 05: Bedni Bugyal – Wan – Lohajung (Trek 10 km / Drive)Descend through pine forests to Wan village. Drive back to Lohajung. Stay at guesthouse. |

DAY 06: Lohajung – Rishikesh (Drive)After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh. Trek ends with unforgettable meadow memories. |
Inclusions & Exclusions of Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek
Trek booking will be confirmed with a 30% advance payment.
Remaining balance must be paid before the trek starts at Lohajung base camp.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, group strength, and guide’s decision.
In case of bad weather, landslides, snowfall, or road blockage, additional costs (if any) will be borne by the trekkers directly.
The company will not be responsible for any natural calamities, medical emergencies, or unforeseen conditions.
Trekkers are expected to carry their own backpack (unless opted for offloading service).
Any kind of misbehavior, consumption of alcohol, or drugs during the trek is strictly prohibited.
All trekkers must follow the instructions of trek leaders & local guides.
Any legal dispute will fall under Dehradun jurisdiction only.
Cancellation before 30 days of trek start date – 80% refund of total trek fee.
Cancellation between 30 to 15 days of trek start date – 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days before trek start date – No refund.
If trek is cancelled by the company due to weather or government restrictions – 100% trek fee will be refunded (excluding transportation cost).
