The Rudranath Trek is one of the most divine and scenic treks in Uttarakhand. Situated at an altitude of 11,800 ft, the Rudranath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the Panch Kedar shrines. The temple lies deep in the Garhwal Himalayas and can be reached only through a mesmerizing trek.
The trail passes through dense forests, lush meadows like Panar Bugyal, and offers breathtaking views of peaks such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Hathi Parvat. The trek is perfect for those seeking both spiritual peace and mountain adventure.
The Rudranath temple is believed to mark the spot where Lord Shiva’s face appeared. The surroundings are filled with mystic vibes and spiritual energy, making it an unforgettable pilgrimage experience.

1 | DAY 01: Rishikesh – GopeshwarDrive to Gopeshwar (10-11 hrs). Check-in to guesthouse. Evening acclimatization walk and briefing. |
2 | DAY 02: Gopeshwar – Sagar – Panar BugyalDrive to Sagar village (5 km) and start trek to Panar Bugyal (12 km). Overnight in tents with stunning Himalayan views. |
3 | DAY 03: Panar Bugyal – Rudranath TempleTrek through alpine meadows and forests to reach Rudranath Temple (8 km). Evening aarti and overnight stay near temple. |
4 | DAY 04: Rudranath – Panar BugyalMorning darshan and trek back to Panar Bugyal (8 km). Rest and enjoy sunset views. |
5 | DAY 05: Panar Bugyal – Sagar – GopeshwarDescend back to Sagar and drive to Gopeshwar. Overnight in guesthouse. |
6 | DAY 06: Gopeshwar – RishikeshDrive back to Rishikesh. Trip ends with divine blessings and unforgettable memories. |
Inclusions & Exclusions of Brahmatal Trek
Trek booking will be confirmed with a 30% advance payment.
Remaining balance must be paid before the trek starts at Lohajung base camp.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, group strength, and guide’s decision.
In case of bad weather, landslides, snowfall, or road blockage, additional costs (if any) will be borne by the trekkers directly.
The company will not be responsible for any natural calamities, medical emergencies, or unforeseen conditions.
Trekkers are expected to carry their own backpack (unless opted for offloading service).
Any kind of misbehavior, consumption of alcohol, or drugs during the trek is strictly prohibited.
All trekkers must follow the instructions of trek leaders & local guides.
Any legal dispute will fall under Dehradun jurisdiction only.
Cancellation before 30 days of trek start date – 80% refund of total trek fee.
Cancellation between 30 to 15 days of trek start date – 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days before trek start date – No refund.
If trek is cancelled by the company due to weather or government restrictions – 100% trek fee will be refunded (excluding transportation cost).
