About Valley of Flowers Trek Package

The Valley of Flowers is one of the most enchanting treks in Uttarakhand, famous for its lush meadows, rare Himalayan flora, and stunning landscapes. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this valley is home to hundreds of species of wildflowers that bloom during the monsoon.


The trek begins from Govindghat and passes through Ghangaria village, which serves as the base camp for both Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. The trail offers mesmerizing views of waterfalls, rivers, and snow-clad peaks.


During the trek, you will walk through a colorful carpet of Himalayan flowers like Blue Poppy, Brahmakamal, and Cobra Lily. The valley is also rich in wildlife such as Himalayan black bear, musk deer, and various birds.


This trek is a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and spirituality as it also offers an opportunity to visit the sacred Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, located at an altitude of 4,329 meters.

Valley of Flowers Trek 2025 Timeline

DAY 01: Haridwar – Joshimath (Drive 280 km / 9-10 hrs)

Arrive at Haridwar in the morning. Drive along the Alaknanda River to reach Joshimath. Check in at hotel and rest. Overnight stay at Joshimath.

DAY 02: Joshimath – Govindghat – Ghangaria (Drive + 10 km trek)

Drive to Govindghat. From here, start the trek along the scenic Pushpawati River to reach Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at guesthouse.

DAY 03: Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria

Trek into the Valley of Flowers (6-7 km). Explore the colorful meadows filled with exotic Himalayan flowers. Return back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay at guesthouse.

DAY 04: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria

Trek uphill (6 km) to visit the sacred Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, surrounded by glaciers and a crystal-clear lake. After darshan, return to Ghangaria. Overnight stay at guesthouse.

DAY 05: Ghangaria – Govindghat – Joshimath

Trek down to Govindghat and drive to Joshimath. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 06: Joshimath – Haridwar (Drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar with unforgettable memories of the Valley of Flowers trek.

  • 5% GST extra on trek cost.
  • Personal expenses like tips, laundry, phone calls, etc.
  • Any kind of travel, medical, or evacuation insurance.
  • Meals during transit (journey days).
  • Pony/porter charges for personal luggage.

Terms & Conditions for Brahmatal Trek

Trek booking will be confirmed with a 30% advance payment.
Remaining balance must be paid before the trek starts at Lohajung base camp.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, group strength, and guide’s decision.
In case of bad weather, landslides, snowfall, or road blockage, additional costs (if any) will be borne by the trekkers directly.
The company will not be responsible for any natural calamities, medical emergencies, or unforeseen conditions.
Trekkers are expected to carry their own backpack (unless opted for offloading service).
Any kind of misbehavior, consumption of alcohol, or drugs during the trek is strictly prohibited.
All trekkers must follow the instructions of trek leaders & local guides.
Any legal dispute will fall under Dehradun jurisdiction only.


REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation before 30 days of trek start date – 80% refund of total trek fee.
Cancellation between 30 to 15 days of trek start date – 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days before trek start date – No refund.
If trek is cancelled by the company due to weather or government restrictions – 100% trek fee will be refunded (excluding transportation cost).


Things To Carry

  • Original government ID (Aadhar/Passport/Driving License).
  • Warm clothes: fleece jackets, thermals, down jacket, woollen socks, gloves.
  • Good trekking shoes with high ankle support.
  • Personal medical kit and prescribed medicines.
  • Reusable water bottle & hydration pack (avoid plastic).
  • Torch/headlamp with extra batteries.
  • Raincoat/poncho and backpack cover.
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen, cap and lip balm.
  • Power bank & camera (optional).
  • Do not carry expensive jewellery or valuables.
