Located in Govind Pashu Vihar National Park, the trek starts from Sankri village. The trail passes through charming villages, crystal-clear streams, and dense forests filled with oak and pine trees. During winter, the region is completely covered in snow, making it a true winter wonderland.
The summit of Kedarkantha stands at an altitude of 12,500 ft, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and Ranglana. Every turn on this trek gives you a postcard-perfect landscape.

DAY 01: Dehradun – Sankri (Drive 200 km / 8-9 hrs)Arrive in Dehradun early morning. Drive through Mussoorie and along the Yamuna River to reach Sankri village. Check into guesthouse/homestay and relax. Dinner & overnight stay at Sankri. |

DAY 02: Sankri – Juda Ka Talab (Trek 4 km)After breakfast, start your trek to Juda Ka Talab. The trail passes through pine and maple forests, small streams, and open meadows. Reach the campsite beside the frozen lake. Dinner and overnight stay in tents. |

DAY 03: Juda Ka Talab – Kedarkantha Base Camp (Trek 3.5 km)Trek uphill through snow-covered pine forests to reach Kedarkantha Base Camp. Enjoy mesmerizing views of snow-capped peaks and valleys. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite. |

DAY 04: Base Camp – Kedarkantha Summit – Hargaon (Trek 6 km)Wake up early for the summit push! Reach the top of Kedarkantha by sunrise and witness breathtaking 360° views of the Himalayas. Spend some peaceful time at the summit and then descend to Hargaon campsite. Dinner & overnight stay in tents. |

DAY 05: Hargaon – Sankri (Trek 6 km)Enjoy your last morning in the mountains. Descend down through beautiful pine forests to reach Sankri village. Check into guesthouse/homestay. Celebrate the successful summit with your team. Overnight stay at Sankri. |

DAY 06: Sankri – Dehradun (Drive 200 km / 8-9 hrs)After breakfast, drive back to Dehradun with wonderful memories of the Kedarkantha Trek. Trip ends here. |
Inclusions & Exclusions of Kedarkantha Trek
Trek booking will be confirmed with a 30% advance payment.
Remaining balance must be paid before the trek starts at Sankri base camp.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather, group strength, and trek leader’s decision.
In case of snowfall, landslides, or road blockage, additional costs (if any) will be borne by trekkers directly.
The company will not be responsible for natural calamities, medical emergencies, or unforeseen situations.
Trekkers must carry their own backpack (unless opted for offloading service).
Alcohol, smoking, or drugs during the trek are strictly prohibited.
Follow all instructions of trek leaders & local guides.
Any legal dispute will be under Dehradun jurisdiction only.
Cancellation before 30 days of trek start date – 80% refund.
Cancellation between 30 to 15 days – 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days – No refund.
If trek is cancelled by the company (weather or govt restrictions) – 100% trek fee refunded (excluding transport).
