Kedartal Trek Package 2025 Timeline

1	DAY 01: Dehradun – Uttarkashi – Gangotri (Drive) Drive from Dehradun to Gangotri via Uttarkashi (8–9 hrs). Enjoy scenic views of the Bhagirathi River. Check-in at guest house in Gangotri. Evening visit to Gangotri Temple. Overnight stay.

2	DAY 02: Acclimatization Day at Gangotri Spend the day exploring Gangotri surroundings and acclimatizing. Visit Surya Kund and Bhagirath Shila. Evening trek briefing. Overnight stay at guest house in Gangotri.

3	DAY 03: Gangotri – Bhoj Kharak (8 km trek / 5-6 hrs) Begin the trek after breakfast. The trail ascends through pine forests and rocky terrain along the Kedar Ganga River. Reach Bhoj Kharak campsite surrounded by tall peaks. Overnight stay in tents.

4	DAY 04: Bhoj Kharak – Kedar Kharak (5 km trek / 4-5 hrs) Trek through boulder sections and meadows. Cross small streams and enjoy grand views of Thalay Sagar Peak. Reach Kedar Kharak campsite — a vast meadow surrounded by majestic peaks. Overnight in tents.

5	DAY 05: Kedar Kharak – Kedartal (6 km trek / 5-6 hrs) The most thrilling day! Trek to Kedartal Lake located at 4,912m. Witness crystal-clear glacial waters reflecting Thalay Sagar & Bhrigupanth. Explore the lake area and return to Kedar Kharak. Overnight stay.

6	DAY 06: Kedar Kharak – Gangotri (Descent / 10-11 km) Descend back to Gangotri after breakfast. Enjoy the final views of the peaks and forest trail. Reach Gangotri by evening. Check-in at guest house for overnight stay.

7	DAY 07: Gangotri – Dehradun (Drive Back) After breakfast, drive back to Dehradun via Uttarkashi. Trip concludes with divine Kedartal memories.
